Even without the gooseneck or 5th-wheel, the F-350 stands out from the crowd with its best-in-class conventional towing rating in both gas and diesel. If you choose the gas engine, your F-350 will have a max towing rating of 21,000 pounds. If you choose diesel, your F-350 will have a max towing rating of 24,200 pounds.Now, let’s go over the differences in payload. The F-250 has an available maximum payload of 3,940 pounds with the diesel engine. The gas engine gives the F-250 a maximum payload of 4,260 pounds. The F-350 has almost double the amount with its maximum payload of 7,850 pounds.
